With the release of WP-Members 2.7.6, I have created a new site at rocketgeek.com that will provide support for the plugin, as well as having tutorials, tips, and code snippets for customizing the plugin. There is also a support forum. Very soon, I will also have some premium add-ons for the plugin that will only be available to site members. The first three that are near release are:
- PayPal Subscription module
- Users Stats module (tracks the activity of logged in users)
- MailChimp module
All of this will be available for a subscription rate of $47/year.
Feel free to take a look around the site. If you have only seen WP-Members in its default installation, then if I tell you that this new site is running WP-Members, you may not readily recognize that.
One of the features of the site is to show you visually how WP-Members can be fully integrated with your site in a professional way. All of the customization on rocketgeek.com has not only been done in a way that is compatible with future upgrades (using only filters, action hooks, and CSS customization), but there are tutorials on exactly how I did it so that you can more easily learn how to leverage the plugin’s framework.
The support forum is running on bbPress, and is a working example of WP-Members integration with other plugins.
I am also moving all of the plugin’s support documentation (User Guide, Quick Start Guide, & FAQs) to this new site. These will continue to be free for all users, and there will also be a few free articles in addition to the premium content.
Support on this site will be phased out in the future and I’ll try to do that in a seamless way, so if you have some posts on this site bookmarked, don’t be surprised if you get a 301 redirect at some point in the future.
With that – I invite you to check it out (or read more about what is included)!
