This post covers tools such as image and video creation that are great for adding to your content but won’t break the bank and don’t require an engineering degree to use.
David Boozer has two great posts you need to read. 9 Simple Tips for Crafting Great Blog Posts for Beginners and Pros and Cons of Blogging For Beginners | What You Need to Know About Blogging. As always, David’s insights are simple, concise, and most importantly – useful. If you are seeking to increase your income level from blogging, take a look at these posts.
Affiliate powerhouse ClickBank was mentioned in a HuffPo piece this week. Does this bring affiliate marketing into the mainstream? Read How the Internet Reinvented Opportunity – it is well worth reading to gain some perspective (and maybe some ideas).
And if you are feeling particularly studious and want to read about improving your writing, take a look at Demian Farnsworth’s “Must Read” category. Demian is a gifted copywriter (he’s the chief copywriter for Copyblogger Media). This is a list of posts you’ll not only want to read, you’ll want to bookmark this page. It’s a list of Demian’s posts on writing and there’s enough information contained in this list of posts to help move your talent to the next level.
Speaking of Copyblogger, they’ve announced they are ditching their facebook page. I’m not surprised at this move, since Brian Clark and his crew often speak in terms of not being an online sharecropper.
The new book on my personal reading list that you might consider is Everybody Writes – Your Guide to Creating Ridiculously Good Content by Ann Handley. I’m looking forward to reading it.
