New Bam Bam Picture
I happened to see a picture of Benchmark’s Peruvian Bam Bam on the internet. It was MUCH better than the previous picture I had of him, so I have updated the post on our Casanova’s Music of the Night, a Casanova daughter that has been bred to Bam Bam for a Spring ‘06 cria. Here is the photo. This is a good looking herdsire. I can’t wait to see what we get from this genetic combination.
Casanova’s Music of the Night
Our first alpaca was Casanova’s Music of the Night. She is a nice, true black girl out of 2003 All American Futurity Herdsire of the Year Snowmass Peruvian Casanova. Her dam is an AOBA National Fleece winner, La Huachita. Music is currently bred to Benchmark’s Peruvian Bam Bam for a Spring ‘06 cria. We are excited since this will be our first cria, and with these bloodlines, we have high hopes for our new “child.”

Selene did very well in the show ring and I was pleased with her overall. She went where I wanted her to go and she stood still when I wanted her too. So that …

I’m here in Peoria, IL tonight for the IAOBA Riverside Alpacafest. Selene is checked in and ready to go tomorrow. It will be an early day tomorrow. She is a True Black, so her color class goes pretty early in the morning.
