Demeaning Intelligence

Dear Mr. Kennedy,

I am offended by your recent editorial, “Demeaning Democracy.” I take offense primarily because it is demeaning to the intelligence of all Americans who actually understand our government.

You stated that “the primary reminded us of the miracle of our democracy, in which the nation is ruled by its people”

I would think that those expensive schools your father sent you to would have taught you that our form of government is a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. I would think that you, of all people, with your extremist views and desire to make our government a one …

Islamic Fascism and the Mid-term Elections

The defeat of Joe Lieberman in the Connecticut primary just reinforces my belief that the DNC has been hijacked by the extreme left. So extreme are these views that they are overlooking everything to focus on two things:

Their opposition to the war on terrorism
Their hatred of George Bush

This extremist view puts them in a position of putting party before country. (Incidentally, Ann Coulter has an interesting article that demonstrates that, from the above, 2 = 1. The Democrats would hate anyone, even a Democratic President, that would fight the war …

Wuterich.  I have to say, as much as I would love to say Murtha is full of it, libel is a pretty tough charge to win.  A quick perusal of the subject on Wikipedia will give you an idea of how the U.S. gives a wide berth to protect freedom of speech.

Does that justify Murtha’s charge?  Absolutely not.  Murtha claims to be using the entire matter at hand to criticize the handling of the war in …

The U.N. Continues to Disappoint

U.N. Deputy Secretary-General Mark Malloch Brown continues
to show why the U.N. can’t win the hearts and minds of America.
He was quoted in a British newspaper on Wednesday stating that Hezbollah is not
a terrorist organization.  This is about as intelligent a statement as
some of his comments last month criticizing “Middle
America” as largely ignorant.

Wow!  Way to win friends Mark.  It might be time to do a little soul
searching.  Actually, make that “book searching;” and by
that I mean take a look at your books and find out who is paying your
salary.  The majority of the cash …
