Well, just when I thought I had heard it all…

Frivilous lawsuits not only waste the time and money of our court system, they also end up costing consumers in the long run. And up until now, I thought I had heard most of the ridiculous claims, from the woman who sued McDonald’s after she burned herself when she spilled her hot coffee to the man who sued a number of fast-food chains because he got fat eating their food.

Well, throw those out the window, a new one takes the cake!

In England, a man has sued local authorities because he soiled his pants due to a closed restroom in the bus station. Did he sue for millions? No. He sued for the price of a new pair of trousers.
