The NEW Flip-Flopper
Murtha is falling into the trap of becoming a political “flip-flopper” ala John Kerry’s “I voted for it before I voted against it.” Murtha continues to call for a troop pullout [more...], yet a quick look at the roll call vote 608 [BILL TITLE: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the deployment of United States forces in Iraq be terminated immediately] shows he voted against immediate pull out.
There seems to be much debate on what Murtha has said or done in the past. “Did he - or - Didn’t he” doesn’t really matter here …

If you do not believe my title, Immediate Withdrawal = Suicide, then I do not think you truly understand the terrorist threat. I applaud the GOP in last week’s attempt to force Rep. Murtha and his cronies to put their money where their mouth is. It is about time that they take a stand. Speaking of Ted…
An alternate title for this might have been, “Pot. Meet Kettle.” On Meet the Press this week, Ted Chappaquiddick Kennedy blasted the White House over ethics and stated that we need a “cleaning of the White House.”
Personally, I think more good would be done with a cleaning of the Senate. Ted Kennedy blasting the President over ethics? PAHLEASE! Is there anyone in America that can actually take that seriously? I mean, this is a man who was expelled from Harvard for cheating. And the cover-up of Chappaquiddick - was that a demonstration of Ted’s impecable ethics?
