Silly Old Man

[This was written back in September but never posted. I was cleaning out the "to be edited or deleted" file and decided to put this one up]

Jimmy Carter. The man was a failure as a president, and he is clearly a failure as an elder statesman. No one knows how many marbles he has left clunking around in his empty head, but it is clearly not very many.

His latest babbling (in between an aid wiping the drool from his mouth) is that he is convinced that Al Gore won the 2000 election. The reality, which I may or may not get into here, is that Al Gore did not win in 2000. The majority of the sane have come to realize that over the past FIVE years.

For me, Carter will be forever remembered as a bumbling fool who knows not when to speak, and when he does, he utters inane and insane ramblings that serve either no purpose at all, or strengthen the resolve of some dictator somewhere.
