Future Plans

I was on vacation, so there really were no updates to the blog. But I’m back now. I plan to make some changes over the next couple weeks.

First, all of the “alpaca” content has been moved to a separate blog for Butler Farm. Right now, the only content on that blog is alpaca related, but I will probably add more. I will add a link to that blog from this one, but for now, new posts for the farm blog will only show up over there. Down the road that may change as I am working on a multiple blog front page, but I am getting ahead of myself a little bit. You can view the new blog for the farm here.

This blog will change its focus to more of a wordpress/web tools blog. The reason for this is that I have some strong opinions in my other articles. I don’t want to co-mingle those with the farm and my product support. The majority of the traffic I get comes in for my LimeLite Theme for Wordpress. I hope the Verse-a-matic plugin will become as popular as well.

For this, I will develop a seperate blog for opinionated work and miscellaneous rambles. If you enjoy those articles, don’t despair, I have many more coming. Once I get that moved, I can take the gloves off. I have several articles that are sitting around, incomplete and unpublished, just because I didn’t want to mix them in and scare off first time visitors that came for something else.

Once I have all this set up, I am going to work on a home page that will pull recent posts from all three blogs so people who want all three can view them in one place. [There is actually another blog currently running as well for TradeSpotter, my newsletter publication for futures trading, but that won't tie in. TradeSpotter is not currently taking on any new subscribers. I have a new application in development for that, and I won't take new subscribers until that is complete.]

Also coming soon will be an update to the LimeLite theme and an upgrade to the Verse-a-matic, so watch for those.

I am currently in the process of adding tags to all legacy (pre-WP 2.3) posts. Not all posts have them yet, so this area may be empty
