Government vs Private Sector

I have often stated that less government and more private sector allows for market efficiencies in our economy. Want proof? Here is an excerpt from Neal Boortz that sums it up nicely:

GOVERNMENT VS. PRIVATE SECTOR

This past weekend’s stop for the NASCAR circuit was the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Less than four months ago this facility was heavily damaged. Many structures including trackside condos and luxury suites, were completely destroyed by a tornado. After the tornado passed some people expressed doubts as to whether or not the raceway would be ready to host this weekend’s NASCAR event. As it turns out there …

Proof That Left-wing Extremists Are Not Too Bright

Air America should be helped in their fundraising efforts. I firmly believe that. If they can’t stay afloat, expect a Congressional inquiry into talk radio bias. Never mind that in a free market economy, the available products are driven by supply and demand, and there doesn’t seem to be a demand for the junk that Air America puts out. What crossed my mind was that, through this busy hurricane season, and having plenty of opportunity to do so, I have not actually written about this strange phenomenon.

Here are grown adults, in most other ways seemingly intelligent, standing out in the middle of 130 …

Future Plans

I was on vacation, so there really were no updates to the blog. But I’m back now. I plan to make some changes over the next couple weeks.

First, all of the “alpaca” content has been moved to a separate blog for Butler Farm. Right now, the only content on that blog is alpaca related, but I will probably add more. I will add a link to that blog from this one, but for now, new posts for the farm blog will only show up over there. Down the road that may change as I am working on a multiple blog …
